HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment designed to clear out your pores, replenish your skin's hydration and increase your skin's glow. This comprehensive treatment involves a 4-step approach that includes cleansing, exfoliating, extracting, and hydrating. HydraFacial is perfect for eliminating sebum build-up and debris, covering the outer layer of skin. HydraFacial uses Vortex Fusion Technology, which works like a vacuum to penetrate deeply into the skin and unclog the pores without damaging or agitating the dermis.
The treatment unclogs and loosens the pores, releasing the skin free of dead cells. HydraFacial serum nourishes your pores, delivering an immediate, radiant glow that visibly enhances the overall appearance of your skin. You can then enhance collagen stimulation in the deeper layers of the skin by completing the treatment with an alginate mask or infrared LED light, which we highly recommend prolonging and enhancing the result.

Treatment step-by-step

(1) Consultation
The aesthetician will examine your skin during the consultation and understand your concerns in more detail. They will then take your medical history and develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your skin concerns and desires.

(2) Before Treatment
Make sure you refrain from tanning or exposing yourself to intense UV light for at least 72 hours. We recommend discontinuing exfoliation and avoiding products containing acids and Retin-A in your skincare routine for at least 72 hours before the treatment. Also, please refrain from waxing and depilatory products 72 hours before. Lasers and skin resurfacing treatments should take a break of 2 weeks before commencing with HydraFacial. It is strongly advised to avoid HydraFacial if you had Botox or other injections less than 2 weeks before the HydraFacial treatment. However, you may do Botox and other injections on the day of HydraFacial or any time after the treatment.

(3) During Treatment
HydraFacial treatment is a relaxing, pleasant treatment that follows a strict step by step system with specialist serums delivered by a patented HydraFacial wand using vortex technology.
Step 1: Vortex-Exfoliation, followed by Activ-4TM serum, removes dead skin cells to uncover healthy skin.
Step 2: Vortex-PeelTM Glysal serum, a mixture of Glycolic and Salicylic Acids, delivers the benefits of a peel without post-peel scaling to uncover your skin's glow, enhance complexion, even out skin tone, and provide a powerful anti-aging boost.
Step 3: Vortex-Extraction, a patented painless vortex suction, cleans out pores with the help of Beta-HD™ serum and prepares the skin for manual extractions if necessary.
Step 4: Together with our specialist, you may choose from our bespoke serum selection, Vortex-BoostTM, at an extra cost to customize your skin needs and effectively address fine lines, skin tone.
Step 5: Delivers Vortex-FusionTM Antiox+TM serum to nourish and protect the skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid.
Step 6: Includes LED light application and finishing creams to prolong your treatment. At Oblique House of Aesthetics, we recommend combining Hydrafacial with Alginate mask or Dermadrop treatment, which will enhance your results with deeper product penetration, hydration, and glow.

(4) After Treatment
After a Hydrafacial treatment, immediate improvements in skin texture and hydration are noticeable, allowing you to resume your regular daily routine immediately. To maintain these results and nourish your skin effectively, it's crucial to avoid direct sun exposure, excessive heat, and sauna use within 48 hours post-treatment. Applying SPF 30 daily for at least 5 days after treatment is recommended, although sun protection is advised year-round. Additionally, refrain from using topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 48 hours after treatment to prevent skin sensitization. Avoid waxing or using depilatories for at least 48 hours post-treatment, and refrain from undergoing medium or deep chemical peels or laser treatments for at least two weeks afterward. Furthermore, abstain from using any exfoliating treatments, such as glycolic acid or enzymes, for at least 48 hours following the facial treatment.
