About the service Available in Oblique House of Aesthetics
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an innovative rejuvenation treatment often referred to as the "vampire facial" due to its use of the patient's own blood. The procedure begins with drawing blood, which is then processed in a centrifuge. This spinning action separates the blood into its various components: red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma, each with distinct characteristics.
While plasma is the liquid portion of the blood, it also contains solid elements, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
The platelets are vital for blood clotting and contain growth factors that are crucial for skin healing. The platelets are then injected in a grid pattern over the targeted area, kick-starting the skin into a regenerative phase. The skin responds by attracting vascularity, depositing collagen and elastin. PRP improve the skin's texture, smooths away fine lines, lending volume and an overall plumper appearance.
PRP for Hair
PRP is a highly effective solution for hair loss. It revitalizes dormant hair follicles and addresses thinning hair. By stimulating hair follicles through injections, PRP offers a non-invasive alternative for hair restoration. Platelet-rich plasma therapy not only thickens existing hair but also promotes growth by speeding up its regenerative cycle. This method is beneficial for both eyebrows and the scalp, encouraging follicle development. The increased concentration of growth factors in PRP, which exceeds normal blood levels, serves as a powerful catalyst for rejuvenation.
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)
An evolution of PRP therapy, boasting increased platelet, fibrin, and white blood cell density. Derived from blood, PRF fosters enhanced self-healing capabilities. Due to its rich growth factors, PRF is an effective scar removal therapy. By increasing blood circulation, collagen, and skin density, PRF visibly smoothes the appearance of ice-pick scars, keloids, and post-acne scars. As a bonus to PRP, the procedure is safe for all skin types and ages.
