We are delighted to introduce a range of IPL Photo rejuvenation treatments using advanced Venus Concept IPL technology. Venus Concept photo-facial treatment is powered by Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology that tackles skin damage including hyperpigmentation, premature ageing, sunspots, and acne. Venus Concept also addresses vascular-related imperfections such as spider veins, capillaries, rosacea, and port-wine stains. IPL Photo rejuvenation technology sends precise light through several layers of skin. This targets skin imperfections, correcting them without damaging any surrounding tissue.
The procedure also successfully treats acne-prone skin. Its innovative Venus Versa™ Acne Dual applicator uses Intense Pulsed Light with SmartPulse™ technology to treat both the underlying cause and the visible symptoms of acne.
It uses a combination of blue and red light delivered simultaneously—the blue light destroys acne-causing bacteria in the oil glands, while the red light reduces existing acne-related inflammation to promote faster healing. Research has shown that when blue and red light are administered together, the results are much better than with just blue light alone.

Treatment step-by-step

(1) Consultation
During the consultation, one of our skilled practitioners will meet with you and examine your skin. They will then take your medical history and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and desired results.

(2) Before Treatment
It is highly advised to avoid any irritants to your skin, such as any products containing Tretioin, Retinol,Benzoyl Peroxide, Glycolic/Salicylic Acids, harsh exfoliants one week before your treatment. Please refrain from self-tanning products at least 2 weeks before your IPL treatment to ensure optimal targeting of your skin imperfections (the laser is picking out the brown in the skin which can be altered by the use of tanning products). IPL cannot be carried out on open wounds and sun burns.

(3) During Treatment
During the IPL procedure, the targeted skin area is cleansed, and protective eyewear is provided to shield your eyes. A cooling gel is then applied to enhance treatment effectiveness, followed by pulses of broad-spectrum light targeting specific skin concerns. You may feel a slight snapping or very mild stinging during each pulse, but the discomfort is generally minimal. Venus Versa IPL device has a cooling mode to minimise all discomfort and ensure great results without risk of overheating the dermis. SPF will be applied right after the treatment.

(4)After Treatment
After IPL, your skin may be slightly red and hypersensitive, especially to heat. Please avoid hot baths and showers for first 2 days following the treatment. Please avoid using harsh skincare products, including exfoliants, scrubs, bleaching creams, and retinol until your skin has healed. Please follow the instructions given by your aesthetician about post care, as each individual case and home care regimen is different. It is advised to use post laser healing skin care, which we have presented in IsClinical Range, Zo Skin Range available for purchase. Please apply SPF to protect your skin during all times, as prescribed by your aesthetician.
