Treatment step-by-step

(1) Consultation
During a Nithya collagen treatment consultation, our expert practitioner will meet with you and discuss your aesthetic goals. This essential step guarantees a personalized treatment plan precisely tailored to meet your specific needs.

(2) Before Treatment
We advise avoiding direct sun exposure for 48 hours before the treatment, as well as refraining from aggressive chemical peels and alcohol. Additionally, please skip certain medications that could lead to excessive bruising following the procedure.

(3) During Treatment
The aesthetician will begin by gently cleansing and sanitizing the treatment area. If you have any sensitivities, please inform us. A numbing cream will be offered for added comfort. Upon arrival at the clinic, you'll consult with the Nithya therapist, who will assess your skin on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands to determine your suitability for treatment. The therapist will discuss your goals, expectations, and any medical conditions or allergies. A personalized treatment plan will be created to address your specific skin concerns.
When the treatment starts, the therapist will prepare the Nithya product in a syringe. The Nithya package contains sterile, pyrogen-free equine type I collagen in powder form, which will be diluted with double-distilled water or saline. The therapist will inject the collagen into strategically targeted points on your face, neck, décolletage, or hands at a 15-degree angle into the dermis. Depending on the severity of your concerns, several injections may be necessary, followed by a massage of the treated areas to ensure even distribution. The entire treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.

(4) After Treatment
Please avoid touching the treated area at least for 6 hours after the treatment. The treated area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and water. Please avoid heat from sunbeds or direct sunlight or to extreme cold for at least 48 hours, as well as strenuous exercise, saunas and hot showers. Please avoid medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen, and supplements such as multivitamins, fish oils, glucosamine and vitamins B and E for 1-2 weeks. (Please check this with your GP first) Please avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and please avoid active ingredients within skincare such as AHAs, retinols and vitamin C as well as oil-based makeup for 24 hours. Avoid facials, facial waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks following treatment. A cold compress should be applied within the first 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid putting the ice directly onto your skin – use a towel to wrap the ice. This will help reduce swelling.

Typically, some patients experience tenderness, bruising, swelling and mild pain on the injected sites. All the sensitivities should stop after a few days.
The initial results like the plumping of the skin can be seen really quickly after the treatment. As time passes, the skin gets more and more rejuvenated. The effects of lifting and tightening start to be visible.
Results can last from 12 to 18 months all depending on the patient’s age and lifestyle.
